After visiting the 'Place in the Sun' Exhibition in Birmingham and deciding to pursue a holiday home near Estepona, we were put in contact with Gary from The Spanish Estate Agent. I would like on behalf of my wife and I to say a few words on the service we received whilst in the care of Shirin Sharifi.
To be honest, we feel we are still in the care of Shirin. Since the start of February this year, when the thought of our own place in the sun was just a distant possibility, Shirin has been a part of our lives. Through the whole process of introduction, ideas, budget and what we thought we wanted from a property, there was never any hard- sell or being lead towards something we didn’t want. When it came to us flying out to see some property (which you must understand to us was a big deal) Shirin was there taking care of us every step of the way. From meeting us at the airport, planning for us to see as many properties as possible in the time we had and acting as “personal chauffeur” throughout.
That weekend we put down a deposit on a fantastic apartment. It took approximately thirty hours from landing, half way through all the viewings Shirin had organised. This didn’t happen through pressure or being forced into making a decision we didn’t want to make. It was down to care, consideration, and being openly and honestly straight with us. We felt Shirin genuinely wanted the best for us and was buying with us. After that weekend Shirin helped with the lawyer, a cleaner, furniture delivery and organised various work that was needed before we stayed there. Our three small businesses deal closely with members of the public every day and I can say without a shadow of doubt that we would never have had that level of dedicated attention from anyone or anywhere else. This apartment is not just an investment; it’s a place that will enrich our and our two daughter’s lives, a place in the sun that we can call ours. We knew absolutely nothing about property abroad. But we had Shirin and without her we wouldn’t have our perfectly suited place. Not only that but we feel we have a new friend in her.

Although I had originally arranged to meet three separate estate agents on my viewing trip it soon became apparent that Shirin from The Spanish Estate Agent was exactly what I was looking for to help me find my ideal property. Actually listened to what I had in mind; no hard sell; efficient; worked hard to get access to as many properties as possible which might meet my criteria; all with a sense of humour and patience which helped enormously!!!! Introduced me to a solicitor, who did all the necessary financials and legals,  and also some builders to carry out some improvements. All in all a thorough, professional and personal service and I could not recommend Shirin high enough.
